Mystery Cheesecake Pie
- 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 Egg
- 1/3 cups Granulated Sugar, Plus 1/4 Cup, Divided
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 whole 9 Inch Pie Crust, Unbaked
- 1 cup Pecan Halves (or Enough To Cover)
- 2 Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- 2/3 cups Dark Corn Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoons Maple Flavoring (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and vanilla, and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Spread over the bottom of unbaked pie crust.
- Arrange pecan halves on top of the whipped cream-cheese mixture.
- In mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients (eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and extracts) and mix well. Carefully pour over the pecans.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
