One Meal (Skillet)
- 2 or 3 fresh green onions, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. finely chopped celery (and some of the leaves too)
- dash of hot sauce
- generous dash of Worcestershire sauce
- dash of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. light salt
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 pt. frozen tomatoes or 1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
- Mix the first 8 ingredients in large iron skillet and cook over medium heat until vegetables are crisp-tender and all the pink is gone from the meat.
- Add the potatoes and the tomatoes. Simmer, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, for about 15 minutes.
- Put in a 350u0b0 oven and bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are done.
- Add the salad and garlic bread and you have a fine meal for 4 people.
