Molten Chocolate Cakes
- 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter, Plus More For Coating Pan
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar, Plus More For Coating Pan
- 1 whole Egg
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cups Bittersweet Chocolate Chips, Melted
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F.
- In a medium-sized bowl and using a hand mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg, followed by the flour. Finally, gradually beat in the melted chocolate.
- Pour the batter evenly into 2 cups of a jumbo muffin pan that have been buttered and coated in granulated sugar. Bake the cakes for about 8 minutes, or until the cakes have lost their jiggle in the middle. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and placing on the plate.
- I top mine with a dusting of powdered sugar, and a heart finger-painted on with leftover melted chocolate doesn't hurt either. Enjoy!
