Homemade Sweet Square
- 3-5/8 ounces, weight Sugar
- 7 tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, 5-1/3 pinches Water, Divided Use
- 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 1 ounces, weight Corn Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Butter
- 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons Pineapple tssence
- 2 Tablespoons Mixed Fruit Candy
- 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Candies
- In a saucepan, add sugar and 65 ml water, mix well and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
- Add lemon juice, mix well and bring to a boil again.
- In another small pan, add 50 ml water to corn flour, mix well, cook over medium heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon butter and cook until bubbly. Then gradually add sugar water mixture, mix well. Then add cinnamon, pineapple essence, and mixed fruit candy. When the mixture becomes thick, pour onto a greased plate or pan (1x4x6-inch dimensions) and set aside for 2 hours.
- Sprinkle chocolate candy over the almost cooled mixture and press it in a bit so that it sticks (you don't want it to melt, so don't put it on too early).
- Cut into small pieces (1x1 inch). Serve and enjoy.
