Malted Milk Chocolate Fudge
- 1/2 pounds, 2-5/8 ounces, weight Milk Chocolate, Broken Into Pieces
- 3-5/8 ounces, weight Plain/semi-sweet Chocolate (about 50% Cocoa Solids), Broken Into Pieces
- 3/4 pounds, 2 ounces, weight Condensed Milk
- 2-1/8 ounces, weight Butter, Cut Into Chunks
- 3 Tablespoons Horlicks Powder
- 3-5/8 ounces, weight Maltesers Or Whoppers
- Lightly grease and line a 23cm square tin.
- In a large pan, melt the chocolate, condensed milk, butter and Horlicks powder over low heat. Stir until you have a smooth mixture. The mixture should come away from the pan quite easily. It looks a bit like a funny slime monster. A yummy, funny slime monster.
- Pour and scrape the mixture into the tin. Scatter the Maltesers over the top and gently press them into the fudge a teeny bit. Chill for a few hours until firm (I put mine in the fridge overnight). Cut into squares. Marvel at how little it now resembles a monster.
