Bob'S Black Dog Chile
- 2 lb. beef stir-fry or shredded steak
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 1 can tomatoes, semi-drained (28 oz.)
- 1 (28 oz.) can pinto beans, semi-drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cayenne powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- Saute onions, butter and garlic until transparent.
- Add meat; brown.
- Drain excess.
- Add remaining ingredients and boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer partially covered one hour or until the black dog starts howling.
- Top with shredded cheese if desired.
