Bob'S Black Dog Chile

  1. Saute onions, butter and garlic until transparent.
  2. Add meat; brown.
  3. Drain excess.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer partially covered one hour or until the black dog starts howling.
  6. Top with shredded cheese if desired.
