Hailee’S Nutella Strawberry Dream
- 1 cup Nutella, Warmed
- 1 pint Whipping Cream
- 1 pint Strawberries, Diced
- 17-1/3 ounces, weight Puff Pastry Package
- 1/4 cups Chocolate Chips, Melted
- 1 Tablespoon Powder Sugar
- Warm the Nutella in a glass bowl in the microwave in 30 second increments, until warmed up and smooth, set aside.
- Pour whipping cream into mixing bowl and beat until it holds soft peaks. Soft peaks should fold over when the beaters are lifted. If using an electric mixer, start on medium speed to prevent splattering, then speed up. Just don't add sugar, you don't need it - the Nutella adds all the flavor you need.
- Fold the Nutella and the diced strawberries into the whipping cream.
- Cook puff pastry or phyllo dough as directed on the package. You can use a cookie cutter to make shapes, we used a heart shapped cookie cutter, but it isn't necessary you can just cut them into squares to make it easier. It will look just as nice.
- Scoop the cream mixture into pastry shells or layer in between phyllo dough. Add more strawberries on the top of pastry and drizzle with melted dark chocolate and powdered sugar.
