Avocado Sesame Seed Salad
- 3 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 1 head Lettuce
- 1 whole Avocado
- 1/4 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 whole Red Onion, Sliced
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- Preheat oven to 450u0b0F or use the broil function on low and toast the sesame seeds. I just put them on a piece of foil to make clean up easier. Keep a close eye on them and pull them out just when they tart to brown - they go from perfectly toasted to burned really quickly!
- Clean and dry lettuce. Tear it into desired size pieces and place in a bowl.
- Add in chunks of avocado, shredded Parmesan cheese, toasted sesame seeds, red onion, and salt (don't be stingy with the salt!). Toss gently.
- For dressing, add olive oil and rice vinegar into a bowl to combine them, then add it to the salad. You can use less dressing since the avocado and sesame seeds have such wonderful flavor!
