Dr Pepper Glaze
- 1 cup Dr. Pepper
- 1/4 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cups Honey
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Tamari Sauce Or Soy Sauce
- 1 clove Garlic, Peeled And Cracked
- 1 piece (1-inch Long) Ginger, Peeled And Cut In Half
- 1 stick (1-inch Long) Cinnamon
- 2 Pods Cardamom, Cracked
- 2 whole Cloves
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Mustard Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, More Or Less To Taste
- 1/8 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, More Or Less To Taste
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium-low and simmer (uncovered) until reduced to a syrupy consistency, about 30 minutes. Strain the sauce through a fine mesh sieve; cool to room temperature, then store in the fridge.
