7-Up Chocolate Pecan Banana Bread
- 4 cups Sifted Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 2 cups Mashed Bananas
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Butter, Softened
- 4 whole Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup 7-up
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- Sift together dry ingredients, set aside.
- With fork, mash three to four very ripe bananas, measuring two cups.
- Place mashed bananas in mixing bowl. Add sugar and stir until well combined. Gradually add butter, eggs, vanilla and 7-up. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to banana mixture, mixing until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Pour into two greased and floured bread pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing. When bread is cool, wrap in plastic wrap.
