Make A Million Bran Muffins

  1. Combine boiling water, All Bran, and shortening into a measuring cup and allow to cool.
  2. Once it has cooled, combine it with eggs, buttermilk, and sugar in a medium size bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Pour wet ingredients into the dry and gently stir to combine. Gently stir in the raisins.
  4. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and allow to sit, refrigerated, for one day.
  5. Scoop out and bake at 400u0b0F for approximately 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
  6. Uncooked mixture will last at least a week, tightly covered, in the fridge.
  7. Will (eventually) make 6-7 dozen muffins.
