Eggless Walnut Brownie
- 1/3 cups Butter, Softened
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/3 cups Milk
- 1/3 cups Plain Yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Essence
- 1/4 cups Walnuts
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C.
- 2. Grease a cake mould.
- 3. Mix butter and powdered sugar in a bowl with a whisk for 10 minutes till it becomes creamy and fluffy. Set aside.
- 3. Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda 2 times.
- 4. Add the butter and sugar mixture to the sifted flour mixture. Add milk, yogurt and vanilla essence. Fold it in but don't over stir. Add chopped walnuts.
- 5. Put batter into greased cake mould and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Put a knife in the middle of it - if it comes out clean it means it's ready. Let brownies cool in the pan. Cut into squares when cooled completely.
- Serve hot, with ice cream if desired.
- OPTIONAL: Sprinkle rum on brownie
