Macaroni Salad With Bacon
- 1 cup Uncooked Salad Macaroni Pasta
- 2 cups Chopped Celery
- 3/4 cups Chopped Sweet Pickles
- 2 whole Green Onions
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 1 bunch Fresh Dill
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Italian Parsley
- 1/4 cups Real Bacon Bits Plus Extra For Garnish
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt (or Salt To Taste)
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon Prepared Yellow Mustard
- Bring a medium size pot of water to a boil and add the macaroni. Cook until al dente (about 7 minutes). Rinse the pasta under cold water and set aside.
- Chop the celery, sweet pickles, green onions, red bell pepper, and add them to a large bowl. Then chop the dill and parsley, and add them to the bowl.
- Next, add the real bacon bits, salt, pepper, mustard, mayonnaise and macaroni to the bowl. Stir together and chill before serving if you have time.
- Garnish with bits of bacon.
