Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Bark

  1. Place a sheet of wax paper on a large sheet pan and set aside on the countertop.
  2. Bring a pot filled about halfway full of water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and place a glass bowl on top of the pot (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the water). Place white chocolate in the bowl and melt it, stirring occasionally until the mixture becomes very smooth.
  3. While the chocolate cooks, place the hazelnuts in a food processor and pulse 5-10 times or until broken into tiny pieces. Set aside.
  4. Once melted, remove chocolate from the stove and pour it onto the prepared wax paper. Spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle crushed hazelnut pieces on top of the white chocolate base and press gently so they stick. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and press gently so they stick. Place the sheet in the fridge to harden for 20 minutes. Break apart and serve.
