Simple Salad With Balsamic Vinaigrette
- FOR THE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE
- 1/2 cups Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil

- FOR THE SIMPLE SALAD:
- 2 cups Mixed Baby Greens (or Spring Mix)
- 1 whole Tomato, Cut Into Eights
- 1/4 cups Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 1/4 whole Red Onion Very Thinly Sliced
- 1 pinch Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 whole Handful Croutons (try Using Some Homemade Croutons)
- Sliced Grapes, Sliced Mushrooms, Sliced Avocado, Sliced Green Onions (optional)
- FOR THE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE:
- Makes about 1/2 cup, approximately 3-4 servings.
- Pour balsamic vinegar in a small mixing bowl and add sugar and black pepper. Stir to combine. While whisking the mixture, slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Mix very well.
- FOR THE SIMPLE SALAD:
- Add all ingredients (including a small handful of any of the optional ingredients), minus half of the croutons, to a medium-to-large mixing bowl. Add 2-3 Tablespoons of Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing (see recipe above) to the salad and toss. Add remaining croutons and any additional dressing to suit your preferences and toss again. The ingredients should all be lightly coated with the dressing but not drenched. Serve immediately.
