Dilly Bread

  1. In large bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, sugar, onion, dill seed, salt, soda and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat cottage cheese, water and butter until very warm (120u0b0).
  3. Add to flour mix with the egg.
  4. Beat at low speed until moistened.
  5. Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  6. With a wooden spoon, stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough.
  7. Cover with plastic film.
  8. Let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  9. With spoon, work dough enough to stir down.
  10. Turn into a well-greased 8-inch round, 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  11. Cover; let rise 30 to 45 minutes.
