Meat Dressing
- 2 lbs. ground meat (1 lb. may be sausage if preferred)
- 2 small bags pepperidge farm stuffing
- 3 c. boiling water
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter/margarine
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- salt/pepper to taste
- 3 eggs, beaten
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in the boiling water, pour over stuffing crumbs and stir well. Saute celery & onion in butter until tender.
- Add to crumb mixture.
- Brown meat/pork and drain well.
- Stir meat and the rest of the remaining ingredients into the crumb mixture.
- If it seems too dry, add a little more chicken broth to moisten it.
- Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13x9x12 baking dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or until brown.
- Serve with traditional Turkey dinner.
