Chinese Chicken And Vegetables

  1. Spread chicken pieces on wax paper.
  2. Brush with lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet.
  3. Add chicken; brown quickly on all sides.
  4. Drain oil.
  5. Add sugar, green pepper, onions, broccoli and chicken broth.
  6. Bring to boil; lower heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Blend cornstarch and soy sauce; gradually stir in and mix well.
  8. Simmer briefly until thickened.
  9. Serve over rice.
