Dinah’S Scones

  1. Whisk all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl.
  2. Cut cold margarine into 1/4-inch cubes and cut into dry ingredients, until the size of large peas. Stir in craisins. Add half-and-half. Stir until just combined. Do not overwork the dough.
  3. Form into a soft dough. Place dough on a greased baking sheet and press into an 8-inch circle. With a clean knife, score the dough to form 8 wedges. Brush with a little milk. Sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Bake at 400u0b0F for 20-25 minutes or until light brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
