Baked Beans
- 3/4 cups Molasses
- 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 teaspoons Ground Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 3 cans (15 1/2 Oz. Size) Navy Beans (Goya), Rinsed And Drained
- 2 Tablespoons Bacon Bits (optional)
- 1/2 cups Water
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- In a large bowl stir together molasses, brown sugar, tomato paste, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, ground mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add in navy beans and coat with sauce.
- Pour into a large saucepan and stir in bacon bits and water. Add a little more water if desired. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cover and reduce heat to low and let simmer for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove from heat and stir. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
