Bacon, Cheddar, Broccoli Quiche
- 4 slices Bacon, Chopped, Cooked
- 1 cup Cooked Broccoli
- 1 whole Scallion, Chopped
- 1 whole Wheat Pie Crust
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Milk (1%)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Divided
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Fresh, Chopped Parsley, For Garnish (optional)
- 1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0F. Cook bacon in a saute pan until crisp. 2. Remove from pan and set aside.
- 3. Saute broccoli and scallions in the same pan.
- 3. Place bacon, scallions and broccoli in the pie crust.
- 4. In a bowl mix together eggs, milk , 1/2 cup of cheese, salt and pepper.
- 5. Pour egg mixture over bacon and broccoli.
- 6. Add the remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Add more fresh scallions if you like.
- 7. Place quiche on a baking sheet and place in the middle rack of the oven.
- 8. Bake for 40-60 minutes until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
