Easy No-Cook Strawberry Freezer Jam

  1. Clean and crush strawberries to your desired consistency. I place them 2 cups at a time in a food processor and pulse until they are finely chopped, but not pureed. Stir the sugar into the fruit and let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan stir together the water and pectin crystals. Bring to a boil; stir in the Jello mix and boil for 1 minute. Then remove it from the heat and stir this mixture into the strawberry mixture and continue stirring for 5 minutes.
  3. Ladle into jars or freezer containers. Let the containers sit undisturbed on the counter for 24 hours, then store in the freezer for up to a year (or more!).
  4. Makes about 15 cups of jam.
