Easy No-Cook Strawberry Freezer Jam
- 4 pounds Strawberries, Hulled And Crushed (should Be About 7 Cups)
- 8 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 3 boxes Certo Pectin Crystals, 57 G Each
- 1 box Strawberry Jello, 85 G Or 1/2 Cup
- Clean and crush strawberries to your desired consistency. I place them 2 cups at a time in a food processor and pulse until they are finely chopped, but not pureed. Stir the sugar into the fruit and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan stir together the water and pectin crystals. Bring to a boil; stir in the Jello mix and boil for 1 minute. Then remove it from the heat and stir this mixture into the strawberry mixture and continue stirring for 5 minutes.
- Ladle into jars or freezer containers. Let the containers sit undisturbed on the counter for 24 hours, then store in the freezer for up to a year (or more!).
- Makes about 15 cups of jam.
