Apple Butterscotch Cake

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
  2. 2. In a large bowl stir together brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. 3. In another bowl stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; add this into the brown sugar mixture, stirring until blended.
  4. 4. Mix in apples and pecans. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13 pan, spread in an even layer.
  5. 5. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely (about 1 hour). Cut into squares.
