  5. I've been trying to lose weight recently - mostly by going to the gym. My girlfriend is trying to do the same by exercise and dieting. Which means I am on a diet too. Yay. Anyway, I calculated the caloric content of this dish a few different ways - based entirely on the ingredients I used.
  6. 24 ounces 1% Milkfat cottage cheese: 540 calories
  7. 8 ounces lite Cool Whip: 500 calories
  8. 8 ounces crushed pineapple: 140 calories
  9. 3 ounces orange Jell-O mix: 320 calories
  10. Total mixture? 1500 calories! Wow! But I split that into 10 servings - 150 each. Not too bad. There are a few things you can do to drop this even further, using the following ingredients:
  11. Non-fat cottage cheese: 360
  12. Fat-free Cool Whip: 300
  13. Sugar free Jell-O: 80
  14. Crushed pineapple: 140
  15. Now we're down to 880! 88 calories per serving. I don't know how good it will be, but I can't imagine it will taste bad.
