Broccoli Casserole
- 2 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen broccoli
- 1 c. sour cream or mayonnaise
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 small pkg. almond slices
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and quartered
- cracker crumbs
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Precook broccoli.
- Mix sour cream or mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and onion, then spread water chestnuts, crumbled bacon and almonds over broccoli, then spoon the soup mixture over that.
- Top with cracker crumbs and bake in 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
- Serves 8 to 10.
