Spaghetti Pie(Serves 6 To 8)
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 lb. bulk Bob Evans sausage (may use half ground beef and half sausage)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. green pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella
- Spoon cottage cheese on bottom of spaghetti crust.
- Brown meat, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender; drain. Add remaining ingredients.
- Spoon over cottage cheese filling and crust (except Mozzarella).
- Cover with foil; refrigerate 2 to 24 hours.
- Bake, covered, for 50 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Uncover and add Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake 5 minutes more.
- Let stand 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
