Meat Ball Stew

  1. Mix ground beef with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper, egg, onion and bread crumbs.
  2. Form into balls the size of walnuts.
  3. Brown in hot oil.
  4. Remove meat balls from skillet; pour off all fat except 3 tablespoons.
  5. Blend in flour.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil.
  7. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes, adding more water if necessary.
  8. Add to meat balls in a 2-quart casserole.
  9. Bake, covered, in 350u0b0 oven 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
