Bisquick Breakfast Casserole

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a frying pan, brown one pound of sausage (pork, turkey, deer-get creative!). In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, eggs, milk, and cheese. Once it is well mixed, pour into a glass casserole dish. Drain the grease from your sausage and add to the waiting mixture. Feel free to sprinkle more cheese or add salt and pepper to taste. Sometimes, I even add onions, spinach, etc.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 400-degree oven. It should have a firm texture and should be beginning to turn golden brown.
  4. Serve hot or cold. If you have leftovers, there is no shame in finding yourself in the middle of the night, hovering over the dish with a fork!
