Bisquick Breakfast Casserole
- 1 pound Sausage
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Bisquick Mix
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cups Milk
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- In a frying pan, brown one pound of sausage (pork, turkey, deer-get creative!). In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, eggs, milk, and cheese. Once it is well mixed, pour into a glass casserole dish. Drain the grease from your sausage and add to the waiting mixture. Feel free to sprinkle more cheese or add salt and pepper to taste. Sometimes, I even add onions, spinach, etc.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 400-degree oven. It should have a firm texture and should be beginning to turn golden brown.
- Serve hot or cold. If you have leftovers, there is no shame in finding yourself in the middle of the night, hovering over the dish with a fork!
