Chai Spiced Baked French Toast
- 6 Eggs
- 3/4 cups Almond Milk (or Milk Of Choice)
- 1/2 cups Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1 loaf Brioche, Cut Into Slices
- 1/3 cups Sliced Almonds
- Powdered Sugar And Fresh Berries, For Topping
- FOR THE CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1/4 cups Milk Or Cream
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Lightly butter an 8 x 8-inch baking pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, chai concentrate, vanilla, and salt until well combined. Soak all of the brioche slices in the egg mixture for 5 minutes.
- Arrange brioche slices in greased baking pan. Pour any remaining egg mixture over bread slices. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar. Top with fresh berries and homemade caramel sauce. Enjoy!
- To make the caramel sauce, bring brown sugar and butter to a boil. After about 5 minutes, remove from heat and stir in milk or cream. Let cool slightly, before pouring into a jar. Set aside until ready to use. Store in refrigerator.
