Sericaia
- 350 milliliters Milk
- 125 grams Sugar
- 75 grams All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
- 3 Eggs, Yolks And Whites Divided
- Cinnamon Powder
- Preheat oven to 180u0b0C/350u0b0F.
- In a large saucepan place the milk, sugar and flour. Mix everything well with a wire whisk and bring to medium heat. Add the lemon zest and stir until the cream thickens.
- Turn off the heat, place the mixture in a bowl and allow to cool until lukewarm.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff and set aside.
- Gently beat the egg yolks using a fork and add them into the cream. Stir and then gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish (roughly 8x8 or 9x9-inch), sprinkle with cinnamon powder (enough to cover completely) and place it into the preheated oven. Bake at 180u0b0C/350u0b0F for about 20 minutes.
- Remove it from the oven, allow to cool and serve.
