Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
- 2-1/4 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3/4 cups White Sugar
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Vanilla
- 1/4 cups Chocolate Syrup
- 1 cup Soft Butter
- 2 whole Eggs
- 24 ounces, weight Walnuts, Halves Or Chopped
- 12 ounces, weight Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Mix together flour, salt, and baking soda, set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream sugars, vanilla, chocolate syrup and butter. Add eggs until mixed, then add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Drop by heaping Tablespoon onto parchment lined cookie sheet, bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes or just until edges start to turn golden. Remove from oven and cool for 1 minute then move to cooling racks. Store in airtight containers.
- These freeze well also.
