Apple Pecan Stuffing
- 3/4 cups Salted Butter
- 2-1/2 cups Chopped Celery
- 2 cups Diced Onions
- 2 cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 whole Diced Small Apples
- 4 teaspoons Dried Sage
- 2 teaspoons Dried Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 14 cups Dried Bread Cubes
- 3/4 cups Chopped, Toasted Pecans
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Apple Cider
- In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; cook celery, onions, garlic, apple, sage, parsley and pepper for 10-15 minutes until vegetables are tender. Place bread and pecans in a large bowl; add celery mixture and toss well. Slowly add in chicken broth and apple cider until desired consistency is reached. You want the stuffing to be soft but not too wet.
- You can use this stuffing to stuff a turkey (follow your normal directions for stuffing and cooking a turkey) or bake it in a covered dish at 400 F for 20 minutes and then an additional 15 minutes uncovered.
