Au Gratin Potatoes
- 2 pounds Baking Potatoes, Peeled And Sliced Very Thin
- 2 cups Half-and-half
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced Very Well
- 1/2 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cups Gruyere Cheese, Freshly Grated
- 2 dashes Kosher Salt
- 2 dashes Black Pepper
- 1/2 cups Combined Parmesan And Gruyere Cheese For Topping
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the 1/2 cup of mixed cheeses, tossing to coat the potatoes. Put the mixture into a casserole dish, flatten out with a spatula and bake for 30 minutes. Then top with the 1/2 cup mixed cheeses and return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until cheeses on top are wonderfully bubbly and the potatoes are tender. Let stand 1o minutes before serving. Enjoy!
