Italian Meatballs

  1. Combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, green onion, egg, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well. Form into 1 inch balls.
  3. Arrange in a ring on microwave roasting rack.
  4. Cook on 80 for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Turn meatballs over; cook on 80 for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Place meatballs on serving platter.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil; set aside.
  8. Pour drippings into 2 c. glass measure.
  9. Add tomato sauce.
  10. Cook on HI for 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.
  11. Pour over meatballs.
  12. Serve with garlic bread and your favorite pasta.
  13. Makes 12 meatballs.
  14. Total cooking time:
  15. 9 1/2-11 1/2 minutes.
