Sweet And Sour Ham Balls(Low-Fat)

  1. In mixing bowl, combine egg, bran flakes, milk and ginger.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes.
  3. Add meat and mix.
  4. Shape into meatballs.
  5. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes, uncovered; drain.
  6. In saucepan, drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  7. Set both aside.
  8. In a large saucepan, cook carrots in broth, covered, for 5 minutes or until just tender. Do not drain.
  9. Combine vinegar, cornstarch, honey and soy sauce. Stir into carrot mixture.
  10. Stir in reserved pineapple juice.
  11. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  12. Stir in pea pods and cook 2 minutes more.
  13. Stir in pineapple; heat through.
  14. Stir in meatballs. Serve over rice or noodles.
  15. Makes 6 servings.
  16. Very good.
