Chocolate Silk Pie

  1. 1. Combine water, cornstarch, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, and egg yolks in a medium-sized sauce pan over medium heat. Continue whisking pudding until it becomes thick (2-5 minutes). Remove from heat and whisk in butter, vanilla, salt, and coffee liqueur (if using).
  2. 2. Pour pudding into a baked pie crust. Refrigerate until completely cooled.
  3. 3. To make topping, combine heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla and mix with an electric mixer until the cream thickens, about 1-2 minutes. Dollop on top of cooled pie. Top with chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings if desired.
