Spiced Garlic Bread
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1 pinch Salt
- 4 Tablespoons Minced Garlic Or Store Bought Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley Flakes
- 2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper Powder
- 1 whole Baguette Or Any Italian Loaf Bread
- Red Chili Flakes As Per Choice (optional)
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Preheat oven to 325 F.
- In a bowl, add butter, salt, garlic, parsley, oregano, paprika andblack pepper powder and mix well.
- Slice baguette ... not too thick. Apply the butter and spice mixture to one side of each baguette slice.
- Cover a baking tray with foil. I do this just to avoid a mess. Place the baguette slices on tray with the butter side up. Garnish these with mozzarella and red chili flakes.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until the bread is crisp and cheese is melted.
- Tips:
- - Adjust spice levels as per your choice.
- - You can use any bread and cheese combo as per your choice.
- - I didn't use the red chili flakes in this but if you wish you can use.
- - Make sure you use salt in the mixture wisely as if you are using salted butter and cheese-otherwise the bread might end up being salty.
