Cheese Sticks
- 3 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1 lb. American processed cheese (Velveeta)
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 2 drops Tabasco sauce
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- Place cheese between 2 pieces of waxed paper and use rolling pin to flatten to 12 x 6-inch rectangle.
- Set aside.
- Blend Tabasco sauce and mustard into cream cheese.
- Remove top layer of waxed paper from American cheese and spread cream cheese mixture over processed cheese.
- Sprinkle bacon, onion and pimento over cheeses.
- Fold longest side of cheese 2-inches over the middle with cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold remaining third of cheese toward the middle, forming a strip 12 x 2-inches.
- Cover and refrigerate.
- To serve, cut into thin strips; arrange on serving tray.
- Strips can be cut in half, if desired.
- Makes about 48.
