Bacon, Cheese And Chive Muffins
- 6 slices Thick Cut Bacon
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Smoked Gouda, Cubed
- 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 4 teaspoons Chives, Chopped Fresh Or Dried
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon White Sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1/2 cans Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a muffin pan.
- Brown the bacon and crumble it into smallish pieces.
- Combine all the dry ingredients (including the cheeses) in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients and make sure the egg is well incorporated.
- Now, combine the wet and dry ingredients together and mix until just moist.
- Spoon the mixture into a muffin pan, filling up the muffins pan cups about 3/4 of the way to the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Take out the muffins while they are still warm to cool on a rack, otherwise the hardened, once-melted cheese will never come off the pan.
