Crockpot Lentil Soup
- 2 cups Dry Lentils
- 16 ounces, fluid Canned Vegetable Or Beef Broth
- 1 whole Beef Bouillon Cube
- 3 cups Water
- 1 whole Small Onion, Diced
- 3 whole Carrots, Diced Into Large Pieces (3 Should Yield Approximately 1 1/2 Cups)
- 2 stalks Celery, Diced Into Large Pieces (2 Should Yield Approximately 1 Cup)
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 whole Bay Leaf
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Corriander
- 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tablespoons Turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- Rinse the lentils thoroughly. Put all the ingredients into a crockpot, put the lid on, turn on low and cook for 5 to 6 hours. Makes approximately eight 1-cup servings.
