Zesty Lo-Cal French
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. low-cal sweetener
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
- 2 Tbsp. Puritan oil
- 1 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1/8 c. lemon juice
- 1/8 c. tarragon vinegar
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. Pace picante sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning
- Combine cornstarch and water in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and clear.
- Put all remaining ingredients in blender and blend to 3 to 4 minutes. Stir into cornstarch mix and cook until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Cool.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Keeps well. Makes about 1 quart.
