Auntie Di’S Peanut Butter Balls With Walnuts
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cups Softened Butter
- 1 cup ADAM'S Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Walnuts
- 12 ounces, weight Package Dark Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tablespoons Parowax
- 1. Chop your walnuts as finely or as coarsely as you like.
- 2. Mix sugar, butter, peanut butter, walnuts and vanilla in an electric mixer.
- 3. Refrigerate for at the very least an hour. You want the mixture to be firm.
- 4. Melt your dark chocolate chips and Parowax in a double boiler, so as not to scald the chocolate.
- 5. When your nutty mixture is hard, roll into walnut-sized balls.
- 6. Dip the balls in the chocolate, place on a tray/plate lined with waxed paper and put back in the refrigerator.
- Note: it's also wonderful to change the nut choice up a bit, add a white chocolate dip, or add some Grand Marnier or Kahlua to your chocolate. Enjoy!
