Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. In a stand mixer, mix together cake mix and melted butter. In a small bowl, lightly beat together eggs and vanilla. Toss in chocolate chips, crushed pretzel sticks and caramel bits and mix until well combined. Using a 1-ounce scoop (equals 2 tablespoons), scoop out cookie dough and place on a cookie sheet, 12 per cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes then cool completely on a wire rack ... if they can last that long!
  2. A fun and simple addition: When you've got the cookie dough balls on the sheet, sprinkle lightly with kosher or sea salt before baking.
