Frisee & Watermelon Radish Salad With Balsamic Reduction Dressing
- 3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 bunch Fresh Frisee (rinsed, Dried, Coarsely Chopped)
- 1 whole Roma Tomato (rinsed Cut Into Quarters)
- 1/2 bulbs Fresh Watermelon Radish (washed, Sliced Thinly)
- Sliced Crusty Bread, For Serving (optional)
- In a small saucepan add balsamic vinegar, salt and onion powder and whisk together on low heat. Then add honey and whisk to combine. Increase heat to high and once bubbly remove from heat and allow to cool down.
- In a serving bowl add frisee, tomatoes and watermelon radish slices. Toss gently to mix. Drizzle with some balsamic reduction dressing and dig in. This is so refreshing.
- Note: In Florida watermelon radishes are readily available. It resembles a large turnip to a degree. Once cut open the interior flesh resembles watermelon thus its name.
