Chocolate Glazed Baked Doughnuts
- FOR THE DOUGHNUTS:
- 2 cups Cake Flour
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 3/4 cups Buttermilk
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup
- 2 teaspoons Hot Water
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F. Spray doughnut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- For the doughnuts, in a mixing bowl, sift together cake flour, sugar, baking powder and nutmeg. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter. Mix until combined. Fill cups about 2/3 full.
- Bake 7-9 minutes or until doughnuts spring back when touched.
- For the glaze, in a medium saucepan, mix ingredients together until melted completely. Drizzle over doughnuts or dip tops in glaze completely.
