Banana-Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins With Walnuts

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. If desired, line a muffin pan with muffin liners. Recipe makes 12 muffins.
  2. 2. In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients (flour through oats on the above list).
  3. 3. In a medium-sized bowl mix all wet ingredients (banana through eggs). Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just moist. Fold in chips and nuts. Divide batter into muffin cups.
  4. 4. Bake on middle rack of the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then bake on the top rack about 7 to 10 minutes, depending on your oven. When done, the tops should be golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin should come out clean. If muffins were cooked in muffin liners, then let them cool slightly before serving. This allows you to pull the paper off easier.
