Ginger Sour Apple Cookies
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/4 cups Sour Cream
- 2 teaspoons Sour Apple Liqueur
- 1-3/4 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Candied Ginger, Minced
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffly. Beat in egg, sour cream and apple liqueur.
- 3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, ground ginger, baking powder and salt. Add to the creamed mixture. Fold in candied ginger.
- 4. Drop or roll rounded tablespoonfuls of dough and place on ungreased baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake in the 350u0b0F oven for 12-14 minutes or until cookies are light brown.
- 5. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before removing to cooling racks.
