Gooey Butter Cookies
- 1 package Cream Cheese (8 Oz. Softened)
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 1 whole Large Eggs
- 1/2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 package Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/2 cups Confectionary Sugar (more Or Less)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium sized bowl, cream together the cream cheese and the butter.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla.
- Add the cake mix and stir until well blended.
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls and then roll them in the confectioners' sugar. (The dough will be very sticky)
- Place 1 inch apart onto a non-greased cookie sheet (I line my pans with a Silpat or parchment paper).
- Bake for 10 to 13 minutes in the preheated oven. Larger cookies will take about 15 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes before placing them on a wire rack.
