Gorgonzola Apple Steak Salad
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon McCormic Grillmates Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Greek Seasoning
- 1 whole Flank Steak
- 5 cups Mixed Greens
- 1/4 cups Dried Cranberries
- 2 whole Small Apples, Sliced Thinly
- 1/4 cups Walnuts, Chopped
- 1/3 cups Gorgonzola Cheese, Crumbled
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Preheat a grill pan on medium heat. In a small bowl, mix together garlic salt, seasoning, and Greek seasoning. Rub mixture on each side of the steak. Place steak in the hot pan, cooking 5-10 minutes each side depending on your preference (mine was 8 each side because I like mine medium-well, with an emphasis on well).
- While steak is cooking, gather greens, cranberries, apples, and gorgonzola, and walnuts in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic and the olive oil for the salad dressing.
- Once steak is done, place it on a plate and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Slice steak against the grain and add to the salad. Dress lightly and serve.
