Aunt Ethel'S Tea Cake Recipe(A Large Batch)

  1. In a large bowl or pan, put flour in.
  2. Add all sugar.
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Beat eggs well.
  5. Add milk, flavoring, oil and Crisco.
  6. Melt butter ahead and let cool enough so as not to cook eggs, then put all these ingredients in flour and sugar.
  7. Mix well.
  8. When you have it all mixed well, you can keep adding or sprinkle a little flour on top of dough just enough so you can handle it.
  9. Pinch it off in small biscuits.
  10. Roll it as a biscuit and place on greased pan.
  11. A shiny pan will bake them better than a dark one.
  12. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  13. Bake until done.
  14. Check them in about 20 to 25 minutes.
  15. Some ovens bake faster than others.
